SLA is currently working with the National Sector Adjustment Services Committee and HRDC on a series of initiatives to increase professionalization in the Retail Industry.
The first is a study of Retail Careers, based on a survey of the Retail Industry in Canada, which contains details of how people get into retailing, typical retail career paths, and advancement criteria.
